Lemon and baking soda, begone! If you’re looking for an affordable mask that you can make with ingredients you probably already have, look no further. These masks are sure to give your skin the plump, glowy look you’ve been seeking.
Most people know the struggle of finding the perfect liquid lipstick. Finding something that lasts, comes in a variety of colors, and doesn’t break the bank can be a difficult endeavor.
Using apps to purchase products is nothing new these days. With a few clicks on your smartphone screen, you can have everything from computers to toilet paper to groceries delivered quickly and without human interaction. At this point, Amazon has become the go-to app for almost all purchasing. But while Amazon sells a bit of everything, some apps have decided to go with a more focused approach. Case-in-point: Shop Hush. Pinterest is filled with great ideas. From crafts, to recipes, to fashion, it’s a great resource for your everyday life and home. But as far as skincare goes, some things the site touts are truly cringe-worthy. And some are even dangerous! Below are the five most notorious beauty “hacks” that abound on Pinterest and why you should stop using them immediately!
Winter can wreak havoc on skin of all types. The combination of dry, cold outside air and central heat can destroy your moisture barrier and strip all of the hydration from your skin. So if your skin has been feeling tight and dry this winter, you’re not alone.
If you were unable to obtain the Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario, you are not alone. Many people were disappointed by how quickly the product sold out, and then were further let down when ABH refused to rerelease the eyeshadows. Makeup fans everywhere were left with only online images of the beautiful shades and looks.
But one company is here to shake that up, and at a price that’s easier on the wallet. It seems that everywhere you look, there's a new grocery delivery service popping up. And with Amazon's recent purchase of Whole Foods, it seems that the trend is unlikely to stop. One of the first onto the scene was Hello Fresh. The company bills itself as a "Weeknight Dinner Solution." It provides a series of recipes, from which customers choose 3-4. A week later, the ingredients and recipes are delivered to the customer's door, ready to cook and enjoy. It's a great concept, and one that has driven the company into the public spotlight and encouraged them to expand their offerings into wine and general organic packaged items. In fact, the company delivers 4 million meals each month, and while stock prices are dropping for the company, capital infusions and new customers keep coming. However, there are several hurdles for the company. Many of these issues arose for me when I received my box of groceries. And with that said, what follows is my honest (and long) review of the box that I received, the level of customer service that I observed, and observations on ways that the company can improve. In this day and age, nearly everyone has realized how important it is to wash your face in some form or fashion. But when you think about your makeup, sunscreen, and other products that come into contact with your face, how clean is your skin really getting from that foaming cleanser on your counter?
